Leads and Projects in Projul AI Connect: A Complete Breakdown
A lead and a project are the same record at different stages, and your AI works with both from "Lead pipeline" and "Projects".
Stages
Every job is a project with a status. Eight statuses are the lead stages shown as tabs in "Lead pipeline": "New", "Contact", "Schedule", "Estimate", "Write", "Revise", "Send" and "Sell". "Sold" makes it an active project; "Completed", "Rejected" and "Canceled" are finished states. Your AI can ask for leads, active projects, or finished ones, and move a project to any status.

The client on a project
Your AI can link an existing client or add a new one at the same time; Projul matches on name plus an email or phone instead of creating a duplicate.
What your AI can change
- Project name, status and stage
- Job-site address and notes
- Likelihood of sale
- Sales rep, estimator and project manager
- Starting a project from a template, calls, messages, estimate meetings, its estimate, and photos and files
What moves on its own
Scheduling an estimate meeting moves a lead to "Estimate" and assigns the estimator; completing that meeting moves it to "Write"; completing a "Write Estimate" task moves it to "Send".
What stays in Projul
Project type, lead source, tags, sold and start dates, access codes, project color, cover photo, assigned workers, new templates, and moving a project to another client are all set in Projul, not by your AI.
